Mr.Fareed Lutfi is one of the best-known insurance personalities in the GCC, with over 30 years of experience, he continues to work tirelessly as a powerful lobbyist for the cause of insurance and best insurance practice across the UAE,GCC and MENA region. Fareed is consistently named by his peers as a key influence in the industry. One of the most recognizable figures in the industry, Lutfi is the Secretary General, Emirates Insurance Association, Gulf Insurance Federation and former Group Director, Insurance Services, at Dubai Holding.He was named as one of the 50 most powerful in the MENA insurance market in 2013. He was awarded the 2012 INSUREX Achievement Award of the Year, as an individual who has made a profound contribution to the industry, whose work exemplifies the highest standards of best practice, innovation and commitment. Mr. Fareed Lutfi is currently serving as an Independent Board Member of Gulf Warranties and a Board member and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Al Fajer Retakaful Company.
